HD 3 Air Dryer

HD3 with control box

HD3 with control boxTo the right is an HD3 unit, which is generally sold with a 10-20hp compressor. Any size compressor can be accommodated by simply adding individual dryers (for example: 4 dryers in an HD4, 10 dryers in an HD10).

Units require little maintenance. It is suggested to replace canisters once a year. Your unit should provide years of trouble-free service.

Our units feature premium desiccant compared to other commercially available units. We combine a high crush strength media with pre & post filters to prevent degradation and desiccant leaching off.  Leached off desiccant can destroy delicate controls in pneumatic systems, please check with your potential dryer supplier if they have taken adequate precautions against desiccant leakage.

Other commercially available units cycle with 1 dryer online (drying) and 1 dryer offline (regenerating) at a time. This is functional, but wasteful in terms of the amount of dry (compressed) air required for regeneration.  Compressed air is the most expensive utility most facilities have. Why are these other dinosaurs still using 15-20% of air for regeneration when our units are below 7%.  We accomplish this by optimizing the design and by having as many as 83% of dryers online at any given time.
